Hike details

The Beaver Hike of Killiney Hill will take place on Sunday 28^th September 2014.

Start time: 5.30pm

Finish time: 6.45pm

(FOR THURSDAY EVENING BEAVERS – THIS WILL REPLACE THE MEETING OF 25^TH SEPT)

Meeting Point & Collection Point

Killiney Hill Car Park

To wear on the day

Hiking boots / strong shoes / runners

Thick socks

Base layer

Light fleece top

Tracksuit bottoms or similar NO JEANS

Windproof/rainproof jacket

Neckerchief (if you have one)

To bring with you

Small rucksack

Spare socks

Hat & gloves

Wet Gear (top & bottoms)

A Snack

Water Bottle

(this may seem like overkill, but we are preparing the Beavers to know what they need to bring on a hike)

Beaver Crab Fishing

September 21st, 2014

What a great night crab fishing, everyone caught at least one crab and no one fell in. Lots more fell off before we could get them out of the water. Total catch of 25 nippy crabs.
